The MHS-PM5 records 1920 x 1080p high definition video and capture 5MP stills with its 5MP CMOS sensor and other useful functions like 4x digital zoom and individual "Movie" and "Still" buttons. Other resolution choices, such as 1280 x 720p, and standard definition 640 x 480, are selectable as well. The camera also features a 270� rotating lens which is great for self-recording and getting a unique perspective. And, when rotated, the lens automatically turns the camera on. The bloggie even provides more advanced features not typically seen on pocket camcorders like Face Detection and SteadyShot image stabilization.
