About the Sony VPLSW535 Ultra Short Throw Wxga Data PJ 3000 Ansi

The Sony VPL-SW535 Ultra Short Throw WXGA Projector packs an impressive array of features in a moderately priced unit which is ideal for business, educational or home use. This full-featured projector offers a powerful 3000 lumens of brightness backed with a crisp 2500:1 contrast ratio, rendering sharp vivid 1280 x 800 resolution images on screens up to 130&quot (3.3 m). The VPL-SW535 WXGA projector delivers a 0.27 to 0.29:1 throw ratio that produces a 80: (2 m) diagonal screen size image from only approximately 1.54 to 1.61 feet (0.47 to 0.49 m) away from the screen creating a shadow-less image. Its 0.75&quot 3LCD imaging panels (the parts that create the image) deliver smooth, seamless color combined with an unparalleled grayscale range.

The VPL-SW535 projector will keep saving you money after the initial purchase. Energy savings start with the 210W high-pressure mercury lamp. It boasts a projected life of 6000 hours in low mode and since it's is synchronized with the durable filter, both are replaced at the same time saving precious minutes of downtime during feature films or presentations.

The VPL-SW535 is equipped to use your local network (LAN) thanks to its wired RJ-45 (Ethernet) jack. You can make presentations from any PC on your network as well as managing, monitoring and controlling it remotely. The VPL-CX235 has got a world ready 100 to 240 V 50/60Hz power supply. It can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals. The VPL-SW535 also decodes and displays closed captioning from programming that provides it, benefiting those in your audience with hearing impairments.

Lastly, auto input search detects which input has an incoming signal and automatically switches to it. This makes it easier for users to set up the projector prior to making a presentation.

Eco Lamp Dimming
This projector (if this function is selected) can reduce power consumption and brightness by 10-15%. After a user pre-set time, the brightness and power consumption will reduce to 30% power usage, with instant 100% brightness returning as soon as a new signal input is detected
Eco Picture Mute - (Instant Off/Instant On)
The new eco picture mute feature reduces power consumption down to 30%, saving cost and lamp hours. This feature can be used in the classroom as instant off/instant on in-between class changes. There is no need to power completely off and turn back on, which is time consuming
6000 Hours Lamp Life
A new driving scheme reduces gap expansion which minimizes brightness gradation. A new cooling system allows uniformity in the temperature of the glass bulb which prevents the glass from clouding
Maximum 3000 lumens brightness with High, Standard and Low Modes
The VPL-SW535 features three brightness modes for different uses - High for naturally white presentations in bright rooms (3000 lumens), Standard for everyday use (2400 lumens) and Low for video in darkened rooms (2000 lumens)
Lens Shift Function
The projector is equipped with horizontal and vertical lens shift functions for greater installation flexibility. Using this function, the position of the projected image can be moved vertically up and down by 4.4% and horizontally from -2.7% through to +2.7%
