The Velbon QHD-71Q Magnesium Ball Head is a heavy-duty ball head made from magnesium alloy, with a built-in full-size quick release mechanism.
Magnesium construction enables a 20% weight reduction compared to traditional metals, but it offers the same stability and quality. The single-action locking knob frees or locks both the panning and ball movement at the same time.
The quick release system on this ball head comes supplied with a large plate, to accommodate the high load capacity of up to 13.2 lbs.
