Filters from Carl Zeiss meet the highest demands on mechanical quality and can be quickly and easily changed. UV and POL filters can be used in combination with the lens shade. High-quality optical glass is developed to meet the performance needs of ZEISS lenses. The proven T* coating minimizes light reflections on glass-air surfaces and improves transmission.

In addition to the filter function, the front lens element is protected against contamination and scratches. With the standard thread diameters of 58, 67, 72 and 82 mm, the filters also fit the lenses of other manufacturers.

UV filters from Carl Zeiss block ultraviolet light, but are fully transparent to the visible components of light. Therefore, they are crystal-clear and do not require longer exposure times. While taking pictures with a high degree of UV light (e.g. long-distance shots, in the mountains or on the water) they can eliminate light haze and enable higher color saturation.
