The camera shutter-release cable is used with our CineMoco controller to fire the camera during timelapse photography. Order this if you need an extra cable to be able to use CineMoco with multiple cameras, or if you have a camera that is not compatible with the included cables.
CineMoco video functions do not require a camera cable, and many cameras support time-lapse with a built-in intervalometer (no camera cable necessary). CineMoco controls the camera shutter with included camera cables for many Canon and Nikon cameras, and cables are available optionally for less common cameras.
