The GS3760D offers a convenient way of upgrading specific Gitzo heads to the new hybrid quick release system. It uses 3 small screws to fix onto the stem of the Gitzo head, and is compatible with specific Gitzo heads using such screws. The GS3760D is supplied with an Arca-style plate (GS5370D), and will also take most manufacturers’ Arca-compatible plates. The camera/plate can be snapped into the head from above, which is faster and easier than trying to slide it in from the side. By simply removing the adaptor from the head, it will also take traditional Gitzo C-profile plates, especially useful for photographers who already own and use our plates as standard.
