The Sony BRU-SF10 HD optical multiplex unit is designed for use with the BRBK-SF1 HD optical muliplex card. They enable use of the Sony BRC-Z330 and allow you to transmit uncompressed digital data without compromising the quality through a single-mode fibre-optic cable, over a distance of about 2 km.
There are various signal outputs available by using two interface card slots. The unit allows you to have RS-232C/RS-422 serial control and one master and up to 7 devices daisy-chained with an external sync output.
