The Tamron AB001 is a petal-shaped lens hood with bayonet mount designed especially for the Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical [IF] Lens. The hood is designed to prevent lens flare when there is a bright light source present, as well as providing protection for the front element of the lens, without vignetting occurring when at wide-angle settings.
