Vanguard's Alta Pro 254 Carbon Fiber Tripod With SBH-50 Ball Head includes a tripod made of 6X carbon fiber to provide a lightweight (3.46 lb) but very sturdy and versatile camera support. It extends to 5.08', and folds down to only 20.9&quot which makes it easy to attach to a gear bag, or backpack.

The included SBH-50 ball head is compact (3.5&quot), lightweight (10.2 oz), and features 2 bubble levels for precision attitude adjustment. It also has a safety locking system for quick release, and a single knob locking mechanism. It supports cameras, lenses and camcorders up to 13.2 lb. This head increases camera stability and provides faster, more accurate camera positioning. 

The four-section legs, which can be independently positioned at 25, 50 and 80 degrees, add to this tripod's versatile positioning capabilities. The legs are quickly secured into their position with one-twist leg locks.
